Kepala SMKN 1 Merdeka, Bapak Mbina Bangun mengikuti Bimbingan Teknis SMK PK selama 3 hari, 30 Mei – 1 Juni 2022 di Tangerang. Ikut mendampingi Bapak Abdi Nisura Purba untuk menyelesaikan dokumen yang diminta oleh Dit. SMK.

Selama 3 hari pelaksanaan Bimtek, kegiatan melengkapi dokumen berjalan dengan baik. Mendapatkan arahan dari fasilitator dan tim pengarah yang baik dari panitia, dokumen yang diminta dapat diselesaikan. Sehingga, pada penutupan acara SMK Negeri 1 Merdeka mendapatkan MoU bantuan pemerintah Program SMK Pusat Keunggulan Sektor Pemesinan dan Konstruksi di Indonesia. Bantuan pemerintah dibagi atas 3 kegiatan utama yakni bantuan Fisik, Non Fisik dan Peralatan.

Direktur SMK Kemendikbud Bapak Dr. Wardani S. meminta SMK PK terpilih harus bangga dengan pencapaian tsb karena dari sekian banyak SMK seluruh Indonesia menjadi salah satu SMK penerimana program SMK PK. Selanjutnya Dir. SMK mengatakan setialah dalam perkara-perkara kecil, tuntaskan dengan semangat luar biasa kepercayaan yang diberikan pemerintah kepada masing-masing Kepala Sekolah. Pakailah dana yang diberikan utk membangun sekolah dan meningkatkan mutu kualitas pelayanan pendidikan di masing-masing sekolah. Pesan yang mendalam dari Dir. SMK kepada setiap orang yang mendengar di ruangan tersebut.

Disela-sela bimtek, Bima Bangun yang merupakan alumni SMKN 1 Merdeka mengajak Kepala Sekolah dan Pak Abdi mengelilingi kota Jakarta pada malam hari dan juga makan malam. Bima Bangun bekerja di salah satu perusahaan di Ciledug sebagai konsultan yang telah memiliki rekam jejak yang luar biasa. Saat makan malam dan perjalanan keliling kota Jakarta, beliau banyak menceritakan pengalaman hidup di kota metropolitan, bagaimana suka dan duka hidup di perantauan. Saat ini dia sudah berumah tangga, memiliki satu anak dan sekarang tinggal di Bekasi.Seluruh kegiatan Bimtek telah diikuti, dan SMKN 1 Merdeka sudah mendapatkan kontrak untuk menjalankan seluruh kepercayaan yang diberikan.
